Paul Burrows is a registered Podiatrist. His Bachelor’s degree was attained in 1993 from QUT in Brisbane. Early in his career was spent in private practice in regional Queensland where practice consisted of general Podiatry, biomechanics, Diabetes-related foot care and nail surgery.

 

Paul’s first exposure to Community-based Podiatry services commenced in Bundaberg and surrounding rural towns. Upon return to Brisbane in 2005 Paul remained in the community organisation where he quickly commenced building a strong, cohesive multi-disciplinary team of Clinicians focused on evidence-based care to achieve the best outcomes possible for Clients.

 

Working with the Redcliffe Nurse Manager a successful and Nationally presented wound clinic was established using the principles of multi-disciplinary Wound Management. This clinic also maintained a strong vision of education and support for all Clinical Staff with a regular rotation of the Nursing and Allied Health Team members to expand clinical knowledge on Wound Management. In 2014 what would become an Internationally recognised multi-disciplinary wound clinic commenced at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
