  • Do I need a doctors referral?
No, you do not need a doctors referral to book an appointment with any of our practitioners at Mary Street Wellness. However, you may be entitled to a rebate from Medicare if your doctor refers you with a Chronic Disease Management plan (CDM) or a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). To claim this rebate, all you need to do, is bring your Medicare card, and your Care Plan along to your first session, and we will process your rebate on the spot.
  • What are the fees?
Each of our services at Mary Street Wellness carry a different fee. Please feel free to give our friendly team a call or email, and they will gladly advise you of these details.
  • Is there parking available?
There is on street parking available on Headland Drive
  • What is the Mary Street Wellness' cancellation policy?
If you know you will be unable to attend your appointment, we ask that you please give us a minimum of 24 hours notice. We do understand that sometimes things happen, so please let us know ASAP as we often have clients on a wait-list who may be able to fill your appointment time. Cancellation fees may apply for no-shows or frequent late cancellations.
  • Can I book online?
Yes! Most of the practitioners at Mary Street Wellness are now available for online bookings. Click here to book your appointment
  • Can I claim a Private Health Fund rebate?
Yes, if you have extras cover you may be eligible to claim part of your treatment fee. Each fund varies slightly, so you are best to check directly with your fund to find out how much you might be entitled to. To process your claim, you will need to bring your Health Fund card to your appointment so that we can process your rebate, then you will only be left to pay the gap. If you don't have your card, you will be required to pay the full fee and we will provide you with an invoice to claim back with your fund. Unfortunately there are a small number of smaller funds that are not registered with HealthPoint, and these funds are unable to be claimed on the spot.
  • Do you bulk-bill?
Unfortunately Mary Street Wellness is not a bulk-billing practice.
  • Do you accept Department of Veteran's Affairs referrals?
Yes many of our practitioners do accept DVA referrals. You must have obtained this referral prior to your first appointment with us.
